Government urges not to play Deusi-Bhailo after 9 pm in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: The government has appealed to Tihar revellers not to organise cultural programmes like Deusi-Bhailo in Kathmandu Valley after 9 pm.

Issuing a statement on Tuesday, the District Administration Office, Kathmandu urged all to organise Deusi-Bhailo programmes up to 9 pm following public health related safety protocols against Covid-19.

Meanwhile, the administration has also urged people not to smuggle, distribute, sell and use firecrackers during the festival.
