CPN-UML elects new leaders in 4 wards of Kathmandu metropolis

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML has elected new leaders in four wards of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City on Saturday.

A 35-member ward committee has been formed in Ward 10 of Kathmandu.

Laxmi Narayan Maharjan, Kalpana Bhusal and Kishor Thapa have been elected as the chairman, vice-chairman and secretary respectively. Lila Bahadur Thapa and Vimala Luintel Poudel were elected as the deputy secretaries.

Similarly, a 41-member ward committee has been formed in Ward 11.

Yogendra Shrestha has been elected as the chairman, Sushant Shrestha as the vice-chairman and Sanjiv Man Singh as the secretary. Prem Kumari Rana and Anita Dahal were selected as deputy secretaries.

A 51-member committee has been formed I. Ward 29.

Shivaram Rajbanshi has been elected as the chairman, Khagendra Pathak as the vice-chairman and Dinesh Maharjan as the secretary. Ambika Upreti and Himadevi Chudal were elected as the deputy secretaries.

Likewise, A 31-member committee has been formed in Ward 31.

Humadevi Acharya has been elected as the chairman, Yam Lal Gautam as the vice-chairman and Ghanshyam Achhami as the secretary. Apsara Khanal and Binod Dahal were elected as deputy secretaries.

The CPN-UML had decided to hold convention in all wards across the nation from October 23.
