Flights at Biratnagar airport resumes

MORANG: Biratnagar Airport which was waterlogged from Tuesday due to torrential rain has resumed its service on Saturday.
According to Utsab Kharel, chief of the civil aviation office at the airport, the timetable for operating flights is from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm as repair is underway.
Buddha Air has been operating nine flights a day from the airport, Yeti Airlines five, Saurya Airlines and Shree Airlines four each and Guna Airlines one.
Earlier, flights to and from the Biratnagar Airport was obstructed as the torrential rainfall for the past three days inundated the airport area.
