CPN (US) forms 11-member Secretariat under headship of party Chair Nepal
KATHMANDU: CPN (Unified Socialist) formed an 11-member Central Secretariat on Thursday.
Publicity Department Chief and Deputy General Secretary Jagannath Khatiwada said that a Standing Committee meeting held on Thursday decided to form the 11-member Central Secretariat under the headship of party Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal and the Central Office under the leadership of Beduram Bhusal.
Now, the Secretariat has got the responsibility to take any kind of decisions from the CPN (Unified Socialist). The Secretariat has also selected the ministers from the party.
Party Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal, senior leader Jhalanath Khanal and Mukunda Neupane are in the Secretariat.
Similarly, among the Vice-Chairmen, Rajendra Pandey, Pramesh Hamal and Jayanti Rai are also incorporated in the Secretariat.
Apart from them, General Secretary Beduram Bhusal and Deputy General Secretaries Jagannath Khatiwada, Bijay Paudel, Prakash Jwala and Ganga Lal Tuladhar are also in the Central Secretariat.
