3 of single family killed in Gulmi landslide

GULMI: Three members of a single family died when a landslide triggered by torrential rainfall buried their house at Resunga Municipality-8 in Thumka of Gulmi district on Tuesday.

Information Officer at the District Police Office Purushottam Pandey said that the deceased have been identified as Bhawana Pariyar (21), Ganga Pariyar (14) and Jamuna Pariyar (14).

Locals with the help of Nepal Army and Nepal Police personnel retrieved the bodies from the debris.

The bodies have been kept at the District Hospital in Gulmi for postmortem.
