Man held for defrauding unemployed youths

GANDAKI: Police have arrested a man for allegedly defrauding people on the pretext of providing them lucrative jobs. 

Police said that Krishna Paudel of Phedikhola Rural Municipality-4 in Syangja district was arrested on September 10 acting on a complaint lodged by the victims.

Poudel, who was currently living in Pokhara Metropolitan City-27 in Kaski district, collected Rs 2,500 from each person. He ran a job placement agency named PG Real Estate and Job Link to attract his clients.

The district court has extended the judicial custody of Paudel for seven days.
