Statute convention of UML postponed, now to be held from Oct 1-3

KATHMANDU: The main opposition CPN-UML has decided to postpone its statute convention.

A Standing Committee meeting of the party held on Saturday decided to postpone the convention for a week. Earlier, the convention was scheduled to be held from September 20-22.

Now, the party has decided to hold the convention from October 1-3, Chief of Publicity Department Yogesh Bhattarai said.

The party has called the Standing Committee meeting for September 19 to hold discussion on preparing a report and finalising a draft for the statute convention.
