“As long as I can breathe, I will dedicate my life to the country”

KATHMANDU: CPN (Unified Socialist) senior leader Jhalanath Khanal returned home after receiving treatment at a hospital in New Delhi, India on Monday. He underwent his kidney transplant at the New Delhi-based  Apollo Hospital in India.

Khanal was taken to New Delhi for treatment on June 16. Earlier on June 14, he was admitted to the Thapathali-based Norvic International Hospital following health complications.

CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal, including other leaders welcomed Khanal at the Tribhuvan International Airport.

Talking to journalists at the airport, he said that he got a new life after a successful surgery. 

“As long as I can breathe, I will dedicate my life to the country,” Khanal further said.
