Nepali migrant worker dies in Kuwait

KATHMANDU: A Nepali migrant worker died in Kuwait on August 24, according to the Embassy of Nepal in Kuwait.

Putali Pariyar (42) of Kushma Municipality-11 in Parbat district had left for Kuwait in search of a job some years ago. The reason behind her death has not been ascertained yet.

Pariyar (Passport No. 10309317) is learnt to have received her labour permit for Saudi Arabia in 2014.

The Embassy said that Pariyar was an illegal migrant worker in Kuwait.

The family of Pariyar has been urged to come in contact with the Embassy of Nepal in Kuwait for facilitation in the legal processes.
