CPN (Unified Socialist) forms five-member interim high command

KATHMANDU: The CPN (Unified Socialist) party has formed an interim high command until the office bearers are selected from the national council.

Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal, senior leader Jhalanath Khanal, Mukunda Neupane, Beduram Bhusal and Pramosh Hamal are in the high command. Apart from Hamal, all the four leaders were the standing committee members of the CPN- UML.

The party will select politburo and standing committee members along with 17 office bearers soon. The Unified Socialist party has already decided to join the Sher Bahadur Deuba-led government.
