NC to hold its 14th general convention on Nov25-29

KATHMANDU: The ruling Nepali Congress has decided to hold its 14th general convention on November 25-29.

A Central Working Committee meeting of the Nepali Congress held on Saturday decided to push the date of the general convention further as it could not resolve the dispute over active membership distribution on time. Earlier the party had decided to hold the general convention on September 8.

Central member Min Bishwokarma said that the party has decided to submit the final list of the active members on August 18 and to hold ward convention on September 3.

President Sher Bahadur Deuba has decided to hold the local level convention on September 12.

Similarly, the party has decided to hold province constituency level convention on September 17, federal electoral district level convention on September 21 and district level convention on September 26.

Likewise, the party has decided to hold province level convention on October 27-29.
