PM Deuba inaugurates J & J vaccination drive

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has inaugurated the Johnson & Johnson vaccination drive from Monday.

The Prime Minister started the vaccination drive after reaching the Jorpati-based Nepal Orthopaedioc Hospital.

Inspecting the vaccination centre, he directed the authorities to inoculate the jabs in an orderly manner.

Laxman Aryal, Secretary at the Ministry of Health, and office bearers of the Ministry were also present in the programme.

It has been learnt that the centre would also vaccinate the Tibetan refugees.

Prime Minister Deuba had also inspected the vaccination centres at the Bir Hospital, Patan Hospital and Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital among other hospitals.

The Johnson & Johnson vaccination drive has kicked off in 77 districts of the country from today.
