2,918 new infections and 5,147 recoveries reported on Monday

KATHMANDU: In the last 24 hours 2,918 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country. 14,819  antigen and PCR samples were tested. An additional 53 people have died. 

2,049 infections were confirmed from 9,438 PCR tests in laboratories across the country, and 5,381antigen tests confirmed the infection in 869 people.

5,147 people have recovered. The recovery rate is 87.8%.  The total number of infected has reached 631,860. A total of 8,465  people have lost their lives.
