Ujjwal Thapa in critical health condition despite testing COVID negative

KATHMANDU: Former president of Bibeksheel Nepali Ujwal Thapa, who is undergoing treatment on a ventilator due to COVID infection, has not been able to improve his health condition. His latest PCR report has been negative.

According to the information given by the chairman of Bibeksheel Sajha Party, Milan Pandey, the health condition has become very complicated despite the negative report of COVID. The virus has caused long-term damage to the body, he said.

Pandey wrote on Facebook, ‘Even in the most complicated situation, doctors are making every possible effort. May we keep him  in  our prayers and positive energy. ‘

Thapa, who contracted corona about two years ago, is undergoing treatment at Medicity Hospital. He has been kept on a ventilator for the past few days and is being treated with the ECMO method.
