6,939 new infections and 7,226 recoveries reported on Thursday

KATHMANDU: In the last 24 hours, 6,939 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country. 20,992 antigen and PCR samples were tested.

An additional 106 people have died. 6,731 infections were confirmed from 20,992 PCR tests in laboratories across the country, and 578 antigen tests confirmed the infection in 208 people.

7,226 people have recovered. The recovery rate is 77.24%. 

The total number of infected has reached 542,256. A total of  6,951 people have lost their lives. 

The number of actively infected has reached 116,476.
