8,607 new infections and 7,890 recoveries reported on Friday

KATHMANDU: In the last 24 hours, 8,607 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country. 23,226 antigen and PCR samples were tested.

A total of 177 people died on Friday.

8,407 infections were confirmed from 22,353 PCR tests in laboratories across the country, and 873 antigen tests confirmed the infection in 200 people.

7,890 people have recovered. 

The total number of infected has reached 4,97,052. A total of 6,024 people have lost their lives.

The number of actively infected has reached 1,16,192.
