8,960 new infections and 5,055 recoveries reported on Thursday

KATHMANDU: As many as 8,960 people were infected with coronavirus in Nepal on Thursday. 

A total of 19,474 PCR and 771 antigen samples were tested. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 214 deaths have been added.

The total number of infected has reached 431,000. The total number of deaths has reached 4,466.

In the last 24 hours, 5055 people have recovered. The recovery rate is 74.57 percent. The infection rate has reached 15.9 percent. The number of actively infected has reached 152,000.
