Members of Parliament being vaccinated against COVID

KATHMANDU: Members of Parliament will be vaccinated against COVID-19 starting from today for the federal parliament session starting on 7th March.

All the lawmakers, including the Speaker of the National Assembly, are being vaccinated at the Civil Hospital from today.

Speaker Agni Sapkota, Prachanda-Madhav faction CPN Chairman Prachanda and others have been vaccinated.

The Secretariat has made arrangements to vaccinate all the parliamentarians, the staff of the Parliament Secretariat, the staff of the International Conference Center, dignitaries and journalists related to parliamentary affairs as they are allowed to enter the Parliament building only after being vaccinated.

MPs will be vaccinated today, while others will be vaccinated on Thursday and Friday, according to the Secretariat.
