Nepal congratulates newly appointed US Secretary of State

KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister Pradip Gyawali has extended congratulations and best wishes to the newly appointed US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

He also expressed confidence that the multifaceted relationship between Nepal and the United States would be further strengthened and expanded during his tenure.

Praising the US multilateral investment in Nepal’s social and economic development, Minister Gyawali stressed on the need to strengthen bilateral relations.

He also mentioned that Nepal is ready to work together on issues of common concern such as climate change, COVID pandemic control and global health.
