Influx of Hindu devotees flock Pashupatinath Temple on last Monday of Shrawan

KATHMANDU: Though the Pashupatinath Temple has been closed to general public due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a large number of Hindu devotees have thronged outside the temple to offer prayers to Lord Shiva on the last Monday of Shrawan.

Influx of Hindu devotees flocked the temple today to conclude the fast they have been taking for the past one month by offering a special puja to Lord Shiva.

In a situation where the rate of Covid-19 infection is increasing, unnecessary crowds have increased the risk of infection. Some people in the crowd had not even worn masks.
