PM Deuba stays transfer of Dr Jageshwor Gautam

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is also the Minister for Health and Population, has stayed the transfer of Chief Administrative Officer of Bir Hospital Dr Jageshwor Gautam.

State Minister for Health Umesh Shrestha making a minister-level decision on Monday transferred Dr Gautam to Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital in Thapathali and was replaced by Dr Rudra Marasini.

According to a source at the Ministry, a transfer letter, however, has not been prepared yet as the Prime Minister has ordered the officials to not implement the decision pertaining to the transfer.
