MELAMCHI: Citizens of Melamchi Bazaar have been trying to return to normalcy after the Melamchi River flooded on the night of 15th June.
They are trying to take their belongings from their house as the water level in the river recedes.
People are living in a low-risk area in a tent. Some are seeking refuge in nearby villages and relatives.
The process of constructing temporary roads by using excavators has also started after the floods destroyed roads and bridges.
However, the flow of water in the river has not stopped as it continues to rain. Locals are trying to make daily life easier even in the midst of terror.
