ASI Yadav working as security guard of Madhes Province Home Minister Lekhi dies

JANAKPURDHAM: Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Nepal Police Birendra Kumar Yadav, who was working as a security guard for Home, Communications and Law Minister Rajkumar Lekhi of Madhes Province, has died.

ASI Yadav breathed his last during the course of treatment at the Biratnagar-based Nobel Hospital last night.

SSP Shanti Raj Koirala, spokesperson of the Madhesh Province Police Office, confirmed that ASI Yadav, who suddenly fell ill, died in the course of treatment in Biratnagar.

“ASI Yadav was admitted to Godavari Hospital in Janakpur after he complained of chest and stomach pain on Sunday night. He was taken to Biratnagar yesterday. He died during the course of treatment,” he said.

According to him, Yadav is a permanent resident of Sukhachaina, Siraha Municipality-25.
