Legendary Italian goalkeeper Buffon in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Legendary Italian goalkeeper and World Cup winner Gianluigi Buffon arrived in Nepal on Sunday.

Buffon arrived in Nepal to watch the final match of “KP Oli Cup Football”.

Kshitij Thebe, Chairman of the National Youth Federation welcomed him at the Tribhuvan International Airport.

In 2006, Buffon helped Italy to win the FIFA World Cup. He also captained Italy in 80 matches.

He played in the World Cup five times.

Machhindra FC and Tribhuvan Army Club are locking horns in the final match of KP Oli Cup Football at 6 pm in Dashrath Stadium on Monday.
