Three foreign nationals held with 4 kg gold hidden in rectum

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested three foreign nationals with 3. 745 kg gold from Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday.

Three women from Uzbekistan, who arrived in Nepal from Dubai, were arrested with the precious yellow metal last night.

Lal Babu Subedi, spokesperson of the Security Office of Tribhuvan International Airport, said that three kg of gold were recovered from three women of four-member team.

According to him, among them, one is a man.

Though police have not recovered gold from his possession, he was from the same group.

Spokesperson Subedi said that the gold was hidden in their rectum.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
