Amen Bhutan Tours and Treks organises programme in Kathmandu to promote tourism between Nepal and Bhutan

KATHMANDU: Amen Bhutan Tours and Treks Pvt Ltd organised a special programme in Kathmandu to promote tourism between Nepal and Bhutan.

The programme was organised to inform the businessmen of Nepal about the tourist areas of Bhutan.

Ranjit Tamang, Managing Director of Amen Bhutan Tours and Treks Pvt Ltd, said that the promotional programme was organised in Kathmandu with the aim of providing information about tourism businesss in Bhutan and cooperation between the businessmen of Nepal and Bhutan.

More than 500 tourism businessmen and the people related to the tourism field took part in the programme organised Dusuti Princess Hotel in Kathmandu.

Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Tourism Board Deepak Raj Joshi also took part in the programme.

Tamang told Nepal Press over phone that the programme was organised to increase contact and coordination with the tourism businessmen in Nepal and share information about the tourism sector of Bhutan.

Amen Bhutan Tours and Treks Pvt Ltd is the largest private sector tourism promotion company of Bhutan.

Tourism businessman Dawa Mingma Sherpa, who is also the former member of the Nepal Tourism Board, said that tourists from third countries go to Bhutan through Nepal due to the easy availability of direct air services between Nepal and Bhutan. That is why, an interaction programme was organised with the Nepali businessmen to promote Bhutan’s tourism.

On the occasion, information about art, culture, religious tourism and tourism plan of Bhutan was also given.
