Cooking gas cylinder explosion in Kamalpokhari leaves 11 injured

KATHMANDU: More than a dozen persons were injured after a cooking gas cylinder exploded in Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu on Thursday.

According to police, the incident occurred at Sandar Momo shop.

Police said that 11 persons were injured and some are in critical condition.

Apilraj Bohara, spokesperson at the District Police Range, Kathmandu, said that the injured have been taken to the Kirtipur-based Burn Hospital for treatment.
