Three injured as cooperatives’ victims, police clash at Maitighar

KATHMANDU: Three persons were injured when cooperatives’ victims and police clashed at Maitighar in Kathmandu on Wednesday.

The clash ensued after police stopped the cooperatives’ victims from going to Baneshwor from Maitighar.

The victims were staging demonstrations at Maitighar this afternoon.

The demonstrators also pelted stones at the security personnel.

The cooperatives’ victims had reached Maitighar after holding demonstrations at Gatthaghar Chowk, Chabahil Chowk, Pulchowk, Lalitpur, Kalimati and Sohrakhutte Chowk.
