Maoist to hold protest rally in Kathmandu on October 26
KATHMANDU: The main opposition party CPN (Maoist Centre) is organising a protest rally against the KP Sharma Oli-led government on October 26.
The Maoist announced the street protest soon after a memorandum was handed over to the government on behalf of the opposition party.
A meeting of the party’s bodies held at the party office in Parisdanda decided to hold a protest in Kathmandu on October 26.
Addressing the meeting, party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal directed all the party committees to prepare for the protest.
The Maoist, who was sent to the opposition after the two big parties of the House of Representatives formed a coalition government, said that they are going to hold a protest rally with the conclusion that the Oli government has failed.
