Gold hits new high of Rs 160, 700 per tola

KATHMANDU: The price of gold has set a new record in the domestic market today.

With the rise of Rs 300 per tola (11.66 grams) today, its price reached an all-time high of Rs 160, 700 per tola.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the gold was traded at Rs 160,400 on Wednesday.

Likewise, the silver is being traded at Rs 1, 955 per tola.
