DPM Singh named acting PM

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh has been given the responsibility of acting Prime Minister.

After Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli left for New York today, Singh has been assigned as acting Prime minister on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, the President’s Office informed.

Leading a Nepali delegation, Prime Minister Oli left for New York this morning to attend the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
