Gold shines to hit record high of Rs 157, 300 per tola

KATHMANDU: The price of gold, which has been rising steadily in the international market as well, has set a new record in the domestic market today.

The yellow metal is being traded at Rs 157,300 per tola (11.66 grams) today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the fine gold was traded at Rs 156,800 per tola on Sunday.

Similarly, the silver is being traded at Rs 1, 915 per tola.
