MPs getting PCR tested today

KATHMANDU: The Federal Parliament Secretariat is conducting a PCR test of the MPs of both the Houses today.

The Secretariat, which is preparing for the special session of the House of Representatives on 10th May, is going to take the COVID test of the Speakers, Chairpersons, Vice-Chairpersons and MPs of both the Houses.

COVID test has started in Lhotse Hall of the Parliament House from 10 am today.

According to the Secretariat, all the members of the House of Representatives and the National Assembly, the General Secretary, the Secretary and all the staff of the Parliament Secretariat will be tested today.

Similarly, the test of the staff of the International Convention Center, dignitaries, journalists related to parliamentary affairs, staff of their own secretariat, traffic, bomb disposal and security personnel will be held on Thursday.

The meeting of the House of Representatives is being held on the 10th May. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s proposal to take a vote of confidence will be discussed and decided in that meeting.
