Olympic medal winner Palesa Goverdhan returns home, receives grand welcome

KATHMANDU: Paris Paralympic Games historic bronze medal winner Palesa Goverdhan returned home on Wednesday.

She received a grand welcome at the Tribhuvan International Airport.

Goverdhan won a bronze medal on Friday night.

This is the first medal won by Nepal in any kind of Olympic sport.

According to the government’s award rules, it is certain that she will receive Rs 6. 5 million from the government.
