Govt decides to recall resident ambassadors of Nepal to five countries

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to recall resident ambassadors of Nepal to five countries by August 31.

The Cabinet meeting held on Monday decided to recall resident ambassadors of Nepal to China, Australia, Russia, South Africa and Sri Lanka by August 31.

The meeting had also made the recommendation for the appointment of resident ambassadors to these countries.

Prof. Dr Krishna Prasad Oli has been recommended for China, Kanta Rijal for Australia, Jung Bahadur Chauhan for Russia, Prof. Dr Kapil Man Shrestha for South Africa and Ram Krishna Bhattarai for Sri Lanka.
