Speaker Ghimire directs govt to answer questions raised in Parliament
KATHMANDU: Speaker Devraj Ghimire on Friday issued a ruling to the government, asking it to answer the questions raised in the House.
During a Parliament meeting today, lawmakers drew the attention of the government to the issues raised in zero hour, emergency time and special time.
“I would like to draw the attention of the government to the issues raised by the lawmakers in zero hour, emergency time and special time,” Speaker Ghimire said.
At the meeting, Nepali Congress Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak had demanded a ruling from the Speaker to inform about Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s India visit and President Ram Chandra Paudel’s foreign visit in the next meeting.
Similarly, informing about the Taplejung’s landslide, CPN-UML Secretary Yogesh Bhattarai urged the government to provide immediate relief to the landslide victims.
