Arrest warrant issued against KMG Chair Sirohiya; NC says, action cannot to taken with prejudice (With video)

KATHMANDU: An arrest warrant has been issued against Chairperson and Managing Director of the Kantipur Media Group Kailash Sirohiya.

Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives after the arrest warrant was issued against Sirohiya, Nepali Congress Deputy General Secretary Badri Pandey warned that they would not stay mum if action is taken against anyone with prejudice.

“I have heard that an arrest warrant has been issued against the Chairman of Kantipur Media Group. Every citizen should be brought under the purview of law. But Congress will not tolerate if action is taken against anyone with prejudice,” he said.

An arrest warrant has been issued against Sirohiya on Tuesday for presenting two citizenships in different institutions.

It has been learnt that the citizenship number was also fake and matched with another person.
