UML Chair Oli to address victory assembly in Ilam today

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli reached Ilam on Tuesday.

He reached Ilam to congratulate Suhang Nembang, who was elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Ilam-2.

Oli reached Ilam from Kathmandu via Damak this afternoon.

He is scheduled to address the victory assembly today.

Suhang Nembang defeated Nepali Congress candidate Dambar Khadka by 5, 830 votes to emerge victorious in the by-election held on Saturday.

He mustered 27, 772 votes while Khadka garnered 21, 942 votes.
