All four candidates of ruling coalition victorious in Bagmati Province
HETAUDA: All four candidates of the ruling coalition have been elected as the National Assembly members in Bagmati Province.
Two candidates of the Nepali Congress, one from the CPN (Maoist Centre) and one from the CPN (Unified Socialist) emerged victorious.
Those who were elected as the National Assembly members are Jeet Jung Basnet and Bishnu Kumari Pudasaini of the Nepali Congress, Shree Krishna Adhikari of the CPN (Maoist Centre) and Ghan Shyam Rijal of the CPN (Unified Socialist).,
Pudasaini got 6, 622 votes in women’s category while Basnet secured 6, 531 votes in other category.
Similarly, Rijal of the CPN (Unified Socialist) garnered 6, 512 votes in Dalit category and Adhikari of the Maoist Centre received 6, 383 votes in Disabled category.
Out of 347 voters participated in the voting held today, only 342 cast their votes.
