Indian teenage girl nabbed with pistol in Janakpur

JANAKPURDHAM: Police have arrested an Indian teenage girl with a pistol from Hanuman Temple near the Janakpurdham-based railway station.

The arrestee is the 16-year-old daughter of Pappur Sahani of Badipokhari-9, Lakisaraye Grampanchayat, Bihar state, India.

Police said that they have recovered a pistol, an Indian SIM card and some Nepali rupees from her possession.

It has been learnt that an Armed Police Force team led by DSP Khadka Bahadur Shahi, acting on a tip-off, arrested her during a security check.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
