Himal Karki resigns as NC Koshi Province PP deputy leader

BIRATNAGAR: Nepali Congress Koshi Province Parliamentary Party deputy leader Himal Karki resigned from his post on Thursday.

Karki said that he will now be only a member of the Province Assembly.

A dispute has surfaced in Koshi Congress after Kedar Karki of Shekhar Koirala faction along with the signature of eight Congress lawmakers and support of CPN-UML staked claim for the post of Chief Minister.
