Nepali students in Israel being shifted to safer location: PM Secretariat
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Daha has directed the concerned authority to inquire about the situation after the attack by Hamas in Israel.
He issued an order to take an initiative to carry out treatment of the injured, identify the bodies of those killed in the attack and to bring the bodies back home.
The Prime Minister directed the authority to rescue and move the Nepali nationals (along with students) to a safer place, PM’s personal secretary Ramesh Malla said.
A rapid action team under the leadership of Foreign Minister NP Saud has also been formed to rescue the Nepalis in Israel.
“Nepali students in the war-torn area will be taken to a safer place by holding a discussion with the Israeli side today itself,” he said.
Saying that he is also in constant touch with the Nepali students taking refuge in a bunker, Mall said that the Prime Minister has been holding discussions with all sides to carry out rescue operations.
