Bharati Manandhar reaches Maitighar again to stage hunger strike

KATHMANDU: Bharati Manandhar, who fell unconscious at the premises of the Supreme Court on Wednesday, reached Maitighar Mandala again to stage a hunger strike.

She had gone to the apex court to take time after staging a hunger strike for two hours at Maitighar against the decision of President Ram Chandra Paudel to grant amnesty to Yog Dhakal aka Rigal, the murderer of her husband Chetan Manandhar.

She was taken to the Bir Hospital immediately after she collapsed at the Supreme Court premises.

Soon after she got discharged from the hospital, she reached Maitighar to stage a relay hunger strike.
