UML’s Secretariat meeting put off

KATHMANDU: The Secretariat meeting of the CPN-UML has been postponed.

The meeting which was slated to be held at Ambas in Dhagadhimai Municipality-14 of Siraha has been put off, Publicity Department Chief Rajendra Gautam said.

He said that the meeting had to be postponed as it was not possible to reach the venue due to floods and landslides triggered by torrential rainfall.

The date for the anther meeting will be decided soon.

The general convention of the party held on August 25-30, 1989 had elected 20-member Central Committee.
