PM’s request to be careful as COVID infections increase in India
KATHMANDU: Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that COVID infection has increased in neighbouring country India and urged the public to remain vigilant.
Addressing the 70th Annual General Meeting of the Chamber of Commerce in the capital on Thursday, the Prime Minister said that the risk of the pandemic has increased due to open borders.
He warned that if the vigilance is not taken now, people’s lives may come to a standstill and urged the public to take precautionary measures. He said, “If we are not careful, there might come a stage where our movement will be stopped. The safe method is to take precaution as the vaccine against COVID-19 does not work 100 per cent. “
