Abdullah appointed as Nepal Football Team Coach

KATHMANDU: Abdullah Almutairi of Kuwait has been appointed as the coach of the Nepal football team. The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has given him the responsibility of the national team with immediate effect. According to ANFA, Abdullah has been appointed for one year. Abdullah will lead the team in the upcoming World Cup qualifiers in June and the clean championship in September. Earlier, Nepal’s Bala Gopal Maharjan had played the role of coach and he had given Nepal the Three Nations Cup. ANFA is scheduled to announce the appointment of Abdullah through a press conference today.
