Declaration by PM: Nepal is self-sufficient in meat, powdered milk, eggs and butter production 

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has declared Nepal self-reliant in 4 production areas of agriculture and livestock.

In a program organized by the Ministry of Agriculture today, he said that Nepal has become self-sufficient in meat products, powdered milk, eggs and butter. 

“We have succeeded in taking our country one step further in one area,” Oli said. This is a matter of joy for the nation.”

The Prime Minister said that many people have contributed to this success. He said that the government has moved towards making the slogan of “one step forward every day” meaningful.

“Every day, we are moving forward with new achievements, reaching new heights,” Oli said.
