Top leaders of three major political parties hold meeting
KATHMANDU: A meeting between the top leaders of the three major political parties has begun on Wednesday afternoon.
The meeting between Prime Minister and CPN (Maoist Centre ) chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal, CPN-UML chair KP Sharma Oli and Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba is being held at a time when high profiles have been arrested by the police in connection with the fake Bhutanese refugee scam.
Earlier today, police arrested former Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand and his personal secretary Narendra KC in the fake Bhutanese refugee scam.
In the meeting, discussions were held on the topic related to the formation of the Parliamentary Hearing Committee including the upcoming budget, it is said.
Earlier on Tuesday, the top three leaders held a meeting at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar.
