Nepal qualifies for Asia Cup defeating UAE by seven wickets

KATHMANDU : Nepal have set their journey for the Asia Cup 2023 defeating United Arab Emirates by seven wickets in the final match of the ACC Men’s Premier Cup.

The final match was played at the TU cricket ground in Kirtipur.

Nepal chased the target of 118 runs set by UAE in 30.3 overs losing only three wicktes.

Gulshan Jha played a superb unbeaten innings, scoring 67 runs off 84 balls with three boundaries and six sixes.

Bhim Sarki also made a valuable contribution with an unbeaten 36 runs, including four boundaries.

Rohan Mustafa took two wickets for the UAE, while Aayan Afzal Khan claimed one.

Lalit Rajbasni was the standout bowler for Nepal, taking four wickets.

Karan KC and Sandeep Lamichhane grabbed two wickets each, and Gaulsan Jha and Sompal Kami claimed one each.
