Ruling coalition meeting inconclusive

KATHMANDU:  A ruling coalition meeting, which was held to discuss the power-sharing among coalition partners, failed to reach an agreement on Tuesday.

The meeting was held this afternoon at the Prime Minister’s residence, Baluwatar.

During the meeting, the Nepali Congress (NC) maintained its claim on 8 ministries. Similarly, CPN (Unified Socialist) and Janta Samajbadi Party (JSP) also maintained their claim on 3 ministries each. Eventually, the meeting failed to reach an agreement, a leader who attended the meeting told the Nepal Press.

The meeting will be held tomorrow morning again at 9 AM, said the leader.
